Explained: The Big Bang & The Universe

The Big Bang is a theory that explains how the universe expanded from a single point. The Big Bang occurred 13.7 billion years ago. All the matter, energy, and light; were all compacted into an infinitely dense point. The universe then expanded tremendously.

As the seconds passes; this condensed energy was spread out, and the forces such as gravity can into existence. Around 300,000 years after the Big Band, the universe was abundant with floating particles. These particles then slowly came to each other. The most simplest elements came into existence, most found was hydrogen (with 1 proton) and helium (with 2 protons).

The different atoms were able to form and then these particles became more and more condensed. Soon matter was formed. The early stars were made up of very simple elements and so they had very short lifespans of only millions of years. But the nuclear fusion in the cores' of these early stars slowly created heavier elements; which when the star died, would become a part of a new star.

These stars were created in small groups and attracted other stars. These stars were grouped in irregular shapes. Then the different shapes merged to form the first galaxies.
Then as more galaxies formed, they became grouped in galaxy clusters, and then these clusters were contained in super clusters.

Today, scientist know about a force called dark energy. Dark energy acts like an anti-gravity and does the opposite of gravity. Dark energy is currently the cause of the expansion of the universe. The universe is expanding at an accelerating rate today.

With the discovery of dark energy, many scientist now believe the the universe will continue to expand forever and all of the matter in the universe will eventually decay within a trillion years.

this theory is the principal stone in the shoe of the catholic church, why?, easy because scientis can prove all in this theory, meanwhile catholic church can prove all the thing that say it, however I'm a catholic believer and no matter this theory I don't left my faith.

The Big Bang theory is exciting because many people don't believe in this so the scientists have many profs for this theory, I'd like to find more information related to in order to know about the space and other things.

If anyone or even a so called smart scientist actually read up on Thermodynamics the "theory of the big bang" would be completely wiped out. But i guess that's why no one bothers to read up on it because they know it CAN prove the big bang WRONG!

I believe you are referring to the second law of thermodynamics, which states that the entropy of a closed system always increases. Entropy is a measure of randomness, and since life is a highly ordered state of matter, it is indeed likely that the earth's biosphere has a lower entropy now than the earth's surface before life began. This is not a contradiction to the second law of thermodynamics, however, since the earth receives energy continuously from the sun, and therefore is not a closed system. Just thought I'd clear that up

The Big bang theory is based on scientific extremes that CANNOT happen. Modern science has been able to prove 3 or 4 items of the almost 100 assumptions it takes to make this model work. It just cannot happen and they call this science? There is a good book worth reading called "The Evolution Cruncher". 916 pages in detail of what is required to make this model workable and science fails on most of them. The Big bang and the evolution of life is definitely not science, it is a religion just like Christianity. They say that religion is based purely on faith, but I must admit that it takes a lot less faith to believe that God created the universe, than to believe what the Big bang scientists are saying.

wow this information is so educative is so amazing. my son have a homework about the big bang, with this post he's gonna be abble to make it... thanks a lot

This can't succeed in reality, that is what I think.

Pretty effective info, thanks so much for this article.

Thats pretty effective and cool info, i mean from one dot to the universe today, it is very hard to believe, i am a christian and this theory is a fail, there are supernova explosions how come no world is made or a galaxy.
The big bang something so explosive becoming the ordered universe, today is happening the opposite the universe is becoming more chaotic, i'd think twice before believing in the big bang, i mean we christians knew the world was round but the scientists thoght it was a square and we christians also knew about other galaxies so we've been right all along.

It's still hard to imagine how everything has came from literally nothing. You can't get your head around it really

People who believe in a God are moronic.

Hi, as you may already noted I am new here. i think you have a great site here... today was my first time coming here.. i just happened to find it doing a google search. anyway, great post. Thank you for sharing to us. there are many person searching about that now they will find enough resources by your post. I would like to join your blog anyway so please continue sharing with us.

actually a never ending issue, we keep instructing us with much information

Actually, we KNOW that an unfathomable amount of matter can exist in one dense little dot. Look at black holes. Yet, somehow people think this makes LESS sense than an invisible man in the sky made us so we can love him? People astound me.

I always find it hard to believe in big bang theory, and find it easier to believe the existence of God instead.

"Around 300,000 years after the Big Band"

Crickey, must have been a huge band!

Of course, but how do we know the existence of God? Of course it is hard to believe but is there any real evidence that God is the creator? Who is God? What is God? It is hard to just leave it there and say that a creator was there. Thomas Aquinas may have said that God must be the answer as the infinite pressure of all must have a cause to it. Science is not impossible, just hard to make it possible. Think about it, god must have been created some way...

good work for my bi bang thing for something i think is called the cosmological theory, thank you

great for my project on the cosmological theory

There are many theories about the Big Bang. Here http://nasha-vselennaia.ru/?p=10056 presents a new hypothesis on the origin of the universe.
For a distant observer, the Big Bang is a result of the collisions in the universe of all galaxies – substances with the speed of light – (C).
For an observer, who is in the middle of the action – Big Bang in the center of the black hole is a result of the collisions in the universe of all galaxies – substances with the speed of 0 km/s.
Because of the great gravity, processes in the center of the black hole slow down in a split second before the Big Bang and the time stretches. On this basis, an observer in the center of the black hole sees that the collision rate between galaxies is 0 km/s.
An observer, who is far from the middle of the action – far from the center of the black hole sees that all galaxies collide with the speed of light – (C).

Let us count positive numbers starting from 0 (zero), and we continue to count until there are no positive numbers to count. ( you just can not)

Now let us count negative numbers starting from 0 (zero), and we continue to count until there are no negative numbers to count. (you just can not)

0 (zero) is neither negative or positive. (agreed?)

By the forces of positivity and negativity we are constrained by everything and nothing.(1=∞=0)

we are all zero.
